Question : I have several associations and I have created a payable account in one of them.
Is there a way to be able to copy that information and paste it into another association ?
Yes. You can export any payable account to any association (to several associations at the same time if needed).
You can also import accounts from any other association (not only a payable account; any account from any association (as far as the number series are the same of course).
To export the payable account to one, several or all your associations :
| • | Use the menu Info > Payables |
| • | Select the account you want to export to other associations |
| • | Click on the button named ‘’Export this Account to Other Associations’’ (bottom right) |
| • | A new window will appear with all your associations on the left side |
| o | It could take some time if you have a lot of associations |
| • | Transfer to the right, the associations in which you want to have this payable account created |
| o | If the account already exists in one or several selected associations, a warning will request your authorization before replacing the account having the same number in the other association |
| ▪ | It will give you the name under which it is created and the new one you want. You must decide if it is the same account or not. |
| • | Example : Electricity Power Company is different from Electricity Power inc. for a computer but is the same for you. |
