Fonts on reports are too large or too small |
|
Almost all my reports or listings have characters too large or too small. They are often truncated or overlaps the next column. Why?
The font used on our reports is "Arial Western" or "Arial Occidental". This is a font installed by default by Windows. All Windows users should have it already installed. Indeed, this is the reason why we have chosen that specific font.
However, if it is not available (for any reason) when you require a preview or printing, Windows will try to match it with another font similar to the one missing. You can't choose the font yourself because reports are pre-formatted with this font.
You can install this font via the Windows' Web site.
To install a new font, you must open the Windows "Control Panel" and choose the option "Fonts", click on the menu "File>Install a new font" and choose the place where the font is located.
If you don't know how to access the Windows Control Panel, you can use a special button in the Condo Manager Help "Technical Support" menu where you can reach directly the Windows Control Panel.
