How to restore the database as of a previous date

Précédent  Suivant Haut

Question : I have made a lot of errors when using the program today and I would like to get rid of all these transactions without loosing what I have done up to yesterday night.

Is it possible and if so, how ?

Effectively, this feature exists in Condo Manager.

Returning in the past may sometime be very convenient. Of course, the less often is the best because the work has to be done twice, but when needed, it avoids a lot of corrections and the beauty of the action is that it will leave no trace at all.

To use the ‘time travelling machine’ :

Use the menu File > Restore Wizard

Step 1

First, you choose from where you want to restore your database. It could be from your local hard disk or from our Web site (if you have adhered to the Web Backup system)
Then, click on ''Next Step''

Step 2

Just choose the data you want to restore (File names include the date and hour they have been saved)
Files are displayed on the left part of the screen waiting for you to choose the one you want
To do so, transfer it to the right (with a double-click or via the button in the center of the screen)
Click on “Restore” and answer YES to replace your data base and it's done

Everything done after the hour and date of the file restored are not there anymore.  Don’t forget to do the necessary transactions again.

Note:

If you want to return to the previous database you had before, just use the ‘’Restore” function again and select the copy of the database you have done before restoring the previous file.
